Donovan started is journey into UX DESIGN in 2024. After 20 years of being a lead photographer & photo editor at Donbg Photo Designs & dabbling with creating websites, Donovan finally decided that he wanted to allow his passion for design a space to be cultivated & room to fully breathe. After joining Black Genius Academy & getting connected to a community of Tech Savvy individuals Donovan was connected to Google Coursera where he enrolled in their Professional UX Designer Certification. This being a self-paced program Donovan established a mindset with a complimentary routine to ensure that he not only completed the course but retained the information & enjoyed the process. Within the training Donovan fell deeper in love with design & was finally able to acquire the skills to bring even more digital experience desires to life. Still connected to the Black Genius Academy > Donovan plans to stay in community to further the development & refinement of the skills acquired in Google Coursera. Donovan has begun looking to position himself & his certification within the same company he presently works for - simply in a different department. Donovans 5 year goal is to mesh his design experience & coaching background into becoming a Design Coach / Consultant.
